§ 94-224. Billing—Frequency, due date, late payment charge.

  • Sewer service charges shall be billed quarterly and shall be payable at the village clerk/treasurer's office or at any officially designated location. Statements for such charges and assessments levied and assessed in accordance with this section shall be due and payable within 20 days from and after the billing date. A late payment charge of ten percent per month will be added to quarterly sewer bills due and not paid within 20 days of issuance. This late payment charge will be applicable to all customers. The utility owner or customer may be given written notice that the bill is overdue not sooner than 20 days after the bill is issued. Unless payment or satisfactory arrangement for payment is made within the next ten business days, service may be disconnected pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes.
