§ 2-331. Membership.

The board of zoning appeals shall consist of five citizens of the village appointed by the village president, subject to confirmation by the village board, for terms of three years beginning on May 1 succeeding appointment. The village president may appoint for staggered terms of three years, two alternate members, who shall act with full power only when a member of the board refuses to vote because of interest or where a member is absent.
